eWareness’ President to Judge Web Marketing Association’s 2012 Inaugural MobileWebAward Competition

eWareness’ President, Brian K. St.Ours, a Space Coast resident and long-time judge for the WebAwards Competition and the Internet Advertising Competition, will join other industry experts from around the globe to help judge the Web Marketing Association’s newest award program specifically for mobile marketing, mobile website design and mobile applications.

“I am very honored to be part of the judging process for the inaugural MobileWebAward Competition,” said Brian K. St.Ours. “This competition will help showcase designers and design firms who are helping pave the way for award-winning integrated design, marketing and development specifically for mobile devices.”

Brian K. St.Ours is the president of eWareness, a Central Florida-based web marketing communications and technology firm incorporated in 2002. St.Ours is also the founder of Veteran Owned Business, an online portal that helps thousands of veteran owned and service disabled veteran owned business members from around the United States reach out to fellow veterans as well as purchasers, partners and organizations.

The MobileWebAwards Competition (m.WebAwards) are produced by the Web Marketing Association to honor excellence in mobile Websites and apps, recognize the individuals and organizations responsible, and showcase the best in award winning mobile development. MobileWebAwards Competition judges are experienced professionals with an in-depth understanding of the current state-of-the-art in mobile web development, design and marketing and the objectivity to score entries according to a predefined set of criteria. Judging will be based on the following criteria: creativity, impact, design, content, interactivity, ease of use and use of medium.

eWareness today announced that it has finalized an agreement for a larger, stand alone building in Melbourne, Florida. eWareness will be relocating over the next several weeks with a planned completion date of April 1, 2009 to be fully operational in the new, main headquarters for our Web Marketing Communications and Publishing Agency.

eWareness Named To Software Magazine’s First Annual Software 500 Next 100

Software Magazine Ranks eWareness as one of the World’s Largest Software Companies

Melbourne, Florida, December 31, 2008 — eWareness Inc. today announced its inclusion on Software Magazine’s Software 500 Next 100 ranking of the world’s largest software and services providers. The is the first year for the Next 100 of the Software 500, which is now in its 26th year.

“Software and services companies with $5 million in revenue and below represent the next generation of bigger companies,” says John P. Desmond, editor of Software Magazine and Softwaremag.com. “We’re pleased to provide more visibility in this segment as a part of the overall research effort into the Software 500.”

The overall Next 100 group shows revenue wins and losses for the calendar or fiscal 2007 year measured, for an average revenue growth rate of 27%. Spending on research and development averaged 79% for the group. “Consistent with the goals of many technology companies who are early in their lives, these companies tend to spend a higher percentage of revenue on research and development,” Desmond says.

The group reports over 3,300 employees, ranging from a reported one employee to 180.

“The Software 500 Next 100 helps CIOs, senior IT managers and IT staff research and create the short list of business partners,” Desmond says. “It is a quick reference of vendor viability. And the online version to be posted soon at www.Softwaremag.com is searchable by category, making it what we call the online catalog to enterprise software.”

The Software 500 is a revenue-based ranking of the world’s largest software and services suppliers targeting medium to large enterprises, their IT professionals, software developers and business managers involved in software and services purchasing.

The ranking is based on total worldwide software and services revenue for 2007. This includes revenues from software licenses, maintenance and support, training and software-related services and consulting.
